Established in February 2012, B. Francis Consulting set out to provide consulting and public speaking services to for-profit and nonprofits organizations locally, regionally and nationally. We provide expert coaching in fundraising and donor cultivation, strategic planning, board development and engagement, professional speaking for special events and grant writing. B. Francis Consulting offers a broad range of affordable consulting and support services to establish, maintain and expand successful practices within your organization.
Background
Beverley Francis-Gibson has more than 25 years of nonprofit experience in the areas of fundraising, donor cultivation and stewardship, grants management, philanthropy, special events, public speaking, and board development. She currently serves as the Executive Director of The National Alliance on Mental Illness in Howard County, Maryland.
A frequent speaker at local, regional and national conferences on the areas of philanthropy, donor engagement, and other selected topics, Mrs. Francis-Gibson brings her specialized expertise and exceptional professionalism to her work. She has been an instructor at Duke University’s Nonprofit Management Program and at the University of Chapel Hill. She was a popular speaker and webinar presenter at the Maryland Governor’s Conference on Grant making in 2009. She also serves on several nonprofit boards and committees in and around the state. She has assisted nonprofits with BBB accreditation through the BBB Wise Giving Alliance Standards for Charity Accountability and served on the Downtown Columbia Cultural Advisory Committee.
